Seacrest offers a comprehensive continuum of specialized care including orthopedic rehab, wound care, skilled nursing, and memory care. The nursing staff was very professional and always good to my mother. They provided games, crafts and other activities for the residence. The doctor who cared for my mother was very nice and always had my mothers best interest in mind. The facility is located in a nice area.The owner/operator of the facility, I believe were cruel and not always honest with the financial side of the business. My mother passed away and is no longer a resident of this facility.

There is a correlation between avoiding hospitalizations and a nursing homes short-term rehabilitation performance. Seacrest Village, a 171-bed, three-story skilled nursing facility, was developed in 1985. It carries a five-star designation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for both overall quality and quality of resident care. The Terraces, built in 2013, is a two-story, Class A assisted living and memory care community. I'd say Gelnhausen as it is on the main railway line with regular service whereas to get to Büdingen requires a change in Gelnhausen and there's only one train an hour. I am looking for a quaint small town close to Frankfurt to stay our first night in Germany. We will fly into Frankfurt am Main and travel by train the next day to the Magdeburg area, but don't want a long train ride right after the long flight from the USA. A town on the rail line to Magdeburg would be best.

When my mother passed away suddenly, I was immediately responsible for caring for my Dad who has dementia. I was referred to Seacrest At Home, and remembered how wonderful Seacrest was when my grandmother lived there years ago. I was thrilled to find that Seacrest At Home started to assist people who wanted to stay in their own homes. At first, my father was not happy to have people come into his home. He was sure that he could take care of himself and didn't need any help.
Lots of blank stares and eye rolls when you ask for help. Nursing staff doesn't seem to care and acts as though you are bothering them. My mother was served a meal on crusty dishes with a dirty greasy glass. That means you have already had a treck to the nearest large airport and then on to the East Coast to catch your international flight. If I did this, I would be bleary eyed when I land in Frankfurt and totally unable to catch a train somewhere else. When I am jetlagged, I stop paying attention to my surroundings and potential pickpockets.
Now removed from their care, all problems experienced during her time there have disappeared and she's doing fantastic. I would't leave a carnival goldfish in their care, much less a human being. Putting my mom in a nursing care facility was the hardest decision I ever made. She had been living with my husband and I for the past 12 years. The nursing staff and all the aides on the 3rd floor are exceptional.

Personal items are often lost or somehow missing from rooms with reimbursement not being an option. Thank God we got our family member out of there as soon as we did. Left in their care, her health was failing in every possible way.
